About Us
PURPOSE: The Black Business Professional Network is here to connect business owners and professionals to strengthen their business and economic opportunities. We collect and disseminate information and professional develolopment that supports Black businesses and professionals and their engagement with the community at large. We are located in on the Sun Coast of Florida in Sarasota.
We aim to ensure the business climate is focused on providing opportunities for Black businesses and professionals as leaders in both business and community.
In short, we exist to improve the level of inclusion, the meaningful involvement of Black business and professionals in the economic engines that drive the communities in which they live.
MISSION: To encourage the reciprocal support, the exchange of ideas, and sharing of experiences to strengthen business and economic opportunities for our Black businesses and professionals.
VISION: To be the premiere resource for information and professional development that supports Black business success in Sarasota/Bradenton and the Suncoast of Florida.

Comes to you regularly with free sign-up as a BBPN member. This e-newsletter is the place for members to share business and community news, information and events, announce specials and get the word out about their businesses and services.
3rd Thursday BBPN Networking Event
A monthly opportunity to meet face-to-face with BBPN members and others to network, gain business and professional development, socialize and have fun. 3rd Thursday Networking events are generally hosted by BBPN Partners usually at their business or organization. Scheduled every 3rd Thursday of the month (6:00 pm – 8:00pm) at various locations throughout the BBPN area.
BBPN Member-To-Member Events
BBPN is a business and professional network whose success is driven by the ongoing interaction between members beyond the once a month 3rd Thursday Networking Event. We encourage members to host their own events!
Member-To-Member events can run the gambit from hosting a happy hour where member can mix business with socializing, to Breakfast/Lunch Meet-up, Seminar/Workshop, and Disscusiion Group/Book Club. As a Member you create and submit your event for approval, we list it on the BBPN website Events page, invite others and its on! (NOTE: You must be a signed BBPN member to hold a Member-To-Member Event. BBPN is currently only accepting Member-To-Member Events that are free of charge to members.) Events Page
