The Black Business Professional Network 3rd Thursday networking event will be held at the Herald-Tribune building lobby and meeting room first floor. This event will feature an “Empowered Moment” presentation on Successful Networking Strategies (her own story) by Sarasota’s own Carolyn D. Robinson, Vice President, Senior Branch Manager, SunTrust Bank. Manatee Community College Hosts Information Sessions About Teaching Certification Preparation Program
Interested in becoming a teacher? MCC’s teaching certification preparation for non-education majors with at least a bachelor’s degree may be just the program for you. The program allow for evening and weekend scheduling of classes for working professionals. After finishing all courses in the program and passing required state and college exams, participants will receive certificates of completion that make the eligible to apply for the Florida Department of Education teaching certificate. The cost of MCC’s alternative certification program is approximately $2000.
