Stephen Cantees, principal of the Phoenix Academy, a school for at-risk students, has been promoted to executive director of high schools. He succeeds Barbara Chomko, who is retiring. Rachel Shelley, the current assistant principal at Phoenix Academy, will be appointed principal of the school. Both appointments will be effective July 2.
